Control Units

water ionization control unitTarn-Pure™ offers the widest range of control units incorporating state of the art technology with simple functionality. With six different control units, we can provide you with a controller sized specifically for your needs making the most of your investment. Each Tarn-Pure™ controller is delivered capable of operating in continuous mode or through ancillary control devices such as flow meters, timers or flow switches. This provides the flexibility required in a changing environment while eliminating costly system upgrades.

The function of the control unit is to stimulate the controlled release of copper and silver ions from the electrode cell fitted on the plumbing system. The water that passes through the electrode cell transports the treated water throughout the plumbing system.

One of many features which make Tarn-Pure™ controllers more attractive than other equipment suppliers is our constant current control unit feature. In continuous mode, the controller will maintain the desired current set point automatically adjusting the voltage to the cell. This compensates for electrode wear, changing water conditions and for scale accumulation on the electrodes.

Reduced Scaling Electrode Cells

water ionization electrode cellsTarn-Pure™ has redesigned their entire range of electrode cells. These new electrode cells which have been granted worldwide patents are exclusive to Tarn-Pure ™ Systems.

For many years electrode cells have been difficult to maintain in hard water systems. The new range of Tarn-Pure™ electrode cells have proven to reduce the build up of scale growth on the electrodes and reduce scheduled electrode cell maintenance. Installed within the electrode cell body and in addition to the electrodes is a non emissive titanium plate. This plate when charged reduces scale from accumulating on the electrodes maximizing water treatment efficiency while reducing the frequency of required electrode cell maintenance.

Each Tarn-Pure™ System is supplied with a spare electrode cell so that the water treatment process is uninterrupted when electrode cell maintenance is required. The electrode cells are constructed from welded high-grade aluminum and epoxy coated to withstand the high pressure and temperatures found in today’s large buildings.
